I land in front of the entrance of the ruins, at the base of the Great Tree.

As I watch closer to the inside of the ruins, I take a deep breath and use〖Presence Sense〗.
A presence is sensed inside. Those Adams are still here, huh.
Headless humanoid creatures with a face on their stomachs.

Immediately after I resolved myself, I sensed another presence from behind.

Whoops, I shouldn’t let my guard down. I tend to forget that this island is full of dangerous monsters, not just limited to these ruins.
And even though she’s one rank higher now after evolving, Alo is still low-leveled.
Her stats improve drastically after each level up though.
Maybe it won’t hurt to hunt one more Rank B monster to level everyone up a bit.

Turning around to take a look at what I sensed, Giver is seen swaying her body in arousal not far from us.
S-She came back. Didn’t Alo blow her away from our nest and she fell straight down from the Great Tree?

Giver gives me long stares before approaching closer and staring at every inch of my body again.
I know she’s trying to look appealing and all, but I’m not the least bit attracted to you, okay?!

Alo looks up at me and I give her a nod.
Don’t kill her upon blast off, alright?

“〖Gale〗”

A spiral of wind gathers from the palm of Alo’s hand, blowing away dust and heading straight towards Giver.
By the time Giver realized she was off the ground, it was already too late and she was blown far away.

“Ku~uooooon”

Giver’s sad cries echo throughout the forest.

That was quite powerful.
Alo’s magic power has significantly increased after evolving into a Revana Lich.
Surely, even a Rank B like Giver received some fair amount of damage from that.

That won’t be enough to kill her, I bet.
If she shows up again, Alo will waste more of her MP just to blow her away again. Let’s go inside the ruins now before she comes back.

I lower my head and enter the entrance.
Once again, I find myself inside a vast hallway.

As we walk further inside, I look around the hallway using the light emitted from gaps in the ceiling.
Several stone pillars, in the shape of humans, are seen supporting the ceiling with a few others broken down.
Three figures appear before us and I stop in place.

Two muscular men with no heads, and a face stuck in the same dandy expression on their stomach. Next to them, a female head with long hair, and just a leg for the body.
I knew it. They only start moving when we reach a certain point in the ruins.
It’s not strange to assume that they’ve been assigned to guard this place from trespassers.

Alright, let’s give this a go again, shall we?

Three Rank A- stand in our way.
All of them looking very grotesque as always, but I’ve gotten used to it.
And more importantly, I know all of the Adam’s attack patterns now.

Since we’re in closed space, I can’t rely on〖Flight〗in this battle, and even if I can, I’ll be exposed to the Adams’〖Gravidon〗attack.
The Adams can’t use their〖High Jump〗skills here either.

Last time, we ran away in a hurry, but now, Alo, Nightmare, and Treant have all leveled up since then.
We’ll be relying a lot on Alo’s powerful magic attacks, as well as Nightmare tricky movements to toy with the enemy.
Nightmare’s webs can even be used to slow the opponent down or delay their reactions.
And, we also have Treant’s…… Treant’s…… uhh…… yeah.
He has his〖Gravity〗skill, which can be used in multiple ways…… like how he used to pin us down with it.

Then, without warning, the three monster abominations rush towards us.
Eve isn’t as fast as the Adams so it lags behind. Looks like compared to Adams, Eves lack physical strength.

So, it’s a support and recovery type……
Being a support type, it’s no surprise that it has a high magic stat, but heck, that speed stat is insane!

We need to take out that Eve first.
I mean, if I was fighting an already tough Adam and it takes me a while to deal a decent amount of damage, only for that damage to get healed by an outside party, I wouldn’t be able to last long.
If we get rid of Eve, they’ll have no means of any outside recovery, support, or protection.
These Adams are pretty low-leveled compared to the first one I encountered on the island, and I’ve already leveled up since then.

Besides, Eve has low HP, so we should be able to kill it with one hit if we see a chance.
The only problem is its speed, which is faster than the Adams. I have a feeling that it’s even more agile than me.
The Adams will also be there to protect it too.
And, that’s the only thing I need to worry about…… Eve’s attack stat may be low for me, but it’s still high enough to severely damage Alo and the others.

The question is how much the Adams would cover for Eve……
We’ll need to match our fighting methods with that.
There are three ways they could go about it.
One, all three of them attack in sync; two, one Adam attacks, while the other guards Eve…… or three, Eve makes use of its high speed to run around the area, avoiding every one of our attacks, while the Adams fight us all at once.
I’d prefer it if they did the first one. Banding together can restrict them into just one target.

Looks like I’ll be watching what their first move will be for now.
