The men around her are surprisingly full of themselves compared to the others.

Looking at her titles, she really is a squad commander.
She also has a few skills that I have.
Her attack stat isn’t that high, she’s not used to close combat battles, it seems.

With the equipment boost from her staff, her magic power goes over 300.
The only other human I’ve met with over 300 magic power so far was the Hero.
Though, mine is triple that.

When we met each other’s eyes, the female mage…… Ernesis snorts at me and turns to her underlings.
The magic squad seems to be different from the others who’re using swords and spears.
I can guess that their role is to attack from a distance, offer support, or cover the vanguards.

“Give me 10 seconds, get in position! We’ll kill it with that!”

All of Ernesis’s men reply with “Yes, ma’am!” as they rush to the frontlines.

“Here it comes, Lady Ernesis’s demonic hand!”
“Commander, what do you mean by ‘that’……”
“Oh right, you’re a new recruit, so you don’t know. Just watch. Hehe, don’t blink or you’ll miss it. Be it humans or monsters, they all get ripped to shreds in the most fun ways.”

One of the men starts explaining stuff to someone who doesn’t seem to get it.
Demonic hand…… it must be that skill she has,〖Demon Hand〗.
It’s only level 1…… then again, it could also be a really advanced skill.

Ernesis, who’s positioned safely at the back of her army, raises her staff and closes her eyes.
Her forehead turns red and it’s showing her nerves.

I swing my tail and whip the oncoming men away.
Those riding their horses get flung in the air, and they get slammed on the ground and the trees, separated from their mounts.
I pin down a man who’s gotten close to me.

“Guo~oh!”

I then kick the man to Ernesis’s direction with great force.
Two of Ernesis’s men look at each other and nod, then they raise their staffs together.

””〖Clay Wall〗!””

Two layers of earth wall rise up from the ground.
…… They’re not a magic squad for nothing.

“Yes, this wall will definitely……”

The man I kicked crashes onto the two-layered wall, shattering it apart.
The force of my kick was so strong, only the base of the walls remain.

Seems like the guy I kicked to the wall ended up dead from how powerful my kick was, the exp points I gained says so.
The two men who made the wall were blown away.

One of the two men crashes into Ernesis’s horse.
Her horse falls down and Ernesis, who still has her eyes closed, falls off of her horse unaware.
The horse falls over Ernesis and she screams.
Ernesis starts bleeding.

“De-,〖Demon Hand〗!”

The bloodied Ernesis chants out loud, while lied down and crushed by her own mount on the ground.
Red light gathers in front of Ernesis and a large dark-red arm, larger than a human, appears.
A claw…… right? The nails are ridiculously long, as if it really belongs to a demon.

“Ee, eeek!”
“N-, not yet, Lady Ernesis, not yet! Erase it, erase it please! Gya~a~a~a aa!”

The hand starts ripping every human and horses near it.
Only their leader, Ernesis, is spared from the slaughter as each of her henchmen become minced meat.
The demonic hand would continue shredding the bodies of every human and horse, even clawing the ground and rocks, until the body turns into tiny pieces.

…… That’s quite a deadly skill she’s got there.
If they used that as a surprise attack, I wouldn’t know what I’d do.
Though, with how wild and out of control it is, it wouldn’t be much of a surprise attack.

Since she summoned it without waiting for 10 seconds when she fell from her horse, she doesn’t have full control over it.

“Even if I used it too soon, don’t waste this chance! Lead that darn dragon here! Hurry or you’ll all die! Just get it in range! It’s no match against my demon hand!”

The bloodied Ernesis commands her men, while disheveling her hair.

“T-, That’s insane, Lady Ernesis! Please, just cancel it! Cancel i-, no, no, uwa aa aa!”

And, another person turns into minced meat.
I spread my wings open and fire a barrage of〖Wind Slash〗.
A total of eight shots were fired.
The wind blades cut through the ground, the rocks, the trees, the humans, the horses, and everything in its path was ravaged, causing a large dust cloud to be formed.
The humans near me, who were the first to get hit by my attack, squeaked a short scream before their final breaths.

For an instant, I thought the demonic hand swiped the wind blade and made it disappear, but it didn’t and the wind blade utterly destroys the demonic hand.
The demonic hand splashes out blue blood, but it eventually turned back into red lights and disappeared.

“M-, My invincible magic, how could this……”

The wind blade didn’t stop after it demolished the demonic hand and aimed for Ernesis, straight ahead.
Hitting Ernesis, another large dust cloud is formed.

I only laid eyes on Ernesis for 10 seconds though.
Oh yeah, there was that other whiny captain too…… but, when I turned to look around at the rest of the army, they were all so scared, they just stood there in fear and dropped their weapons.
So, they finally understood the difference in our strengths.

Ah, there he is. Captain Libras, who just got on his horse, immediately runs away.
But, he was too fast and crashed into a tree, but he soon gets up and runs away again, leaving his horse behind.

Well, that was a rather embarrassing way to retreat, did he intend to portray how frighteningly low their odds of winning are by escaping in that manner? …… Regardless, the rest of the men also follow after him and flee in terror.
I’d appreciate it if every one of you would just run away like that.
Even though I’ve mass murdered so many humans in this fight, I don’t intend to get used to this feeling.

Not only that…… but, there’s still the smoke coming from the village to worry about.
I have to hurry and get back as soon as possible.
