Carrying Alo, Nightmare, and Treant down the Great Tree with me, we traverse through the forest.

Today’s goal is to look for more Admirab Mandragora, just like how spices were a thing in history in my old world…… and also, to level Alo up.
Since Alo and the others just evolved, their level is low again.
With my assistance, they should be able to reach 1/3 of their max level in no time.
And, when that happens…… we can finally challenge the Adams and Eve residing in the ruins under the Great Tree.

Time passed, and we couldn’t find a suitable monster to farm with, and neither did we find any Mandragora either.
After walking around the forest for a while, we ended up on the beach.
I stretch my neck and look beyond.
What beautiful pristine waters…… if it weren’t for the Edge of the World over at the horizon.

…… I have so many questions in my head everytime I see this, but oh well, it’s still a nice scenery to look at.
Looks like there are less monsters here than in the forest.
Guess I’ll turn back…… but then, I notice three human-headed bird monsters, Sirens, gathered together.
The Siren’s head…… with their messed up, womanly face and feminine eyes staring at me. Their long messy hair, coarsed with sand.
Blood dripping out of their mouth from their last kill.
Yeah, I am still horribly disgusted at them, even now.

They’re definitely bad news.
Appearance aside, they’re all strong too, since individually, each one of them is Rank B……
Just as I was about to turn back…… I saw another of different skin color surrounded by the Sirens.

Then, an explanation about Sirens popped up in my head by God’s Voice.

The Sirens are gathering on that one spot because a human drifted along the shore.

I don’t even question why or how a human ended up here in the first place, so I just shot a〖Wind Slash〗at the Sirens.

Though, since there’s a chance I could hit the human, I aimed my shot at an angle where it could miss.
It would be great if they get spooked by that and fly away, but…… that’s unfortunately not the case here.
The already ugly Siren faces turn into even more ugly angry faces.

Bring it on, you freaks of nature! I’ll take you all on at once!
I roar to attract the Sirens’ attention.

Partner looks at me with a face of discontent and worry.

Yes, Partner.
I know what you’re gonna say.
But, I still can’t bring myself to ignore it.
This only shows that, deep down, I’m still human at heart.

And, besides…… if you think about it rationally, this isn’t a bad decision either.
A human to ending up here could mean something.

I know, I know, Sirens are bad.
Each one of them is Rank B…… and, there’s three of them to boot.
But look at it this way, they’re just Rank B. One serious attack from us should be fatal to them.
And if Alo and the others pitch in to help, they can level up too.
