As for Alo, she's still sitting idly on my head.

【"Hungry"】

Partner says to me with a bored expression.
It's not just you, you know. Even I feel hungry and tired from flying all day.
If we can't find any food here soon, I'm not sure I can last long enough to fly back to the mainland.

I look around the area and find that we are currently in a vast grassland.
Rainbow-petaled flowers that I've never seen before color the landscape, making the scenery more beautiful.

Many rainbow flowers are surrounding a tree in the distance.
A lone red fruit hangs out on it.
Is it an apple? It's emitting a faint glow, but it probably won't hurt to check it later and have Partner eat it.

There doesn't seem to be any monsters around.
On one side, huge trees and cliffs are seen as far as I can see, and on the other side is the ocean where the seawater is mysteriously falling, yet the sea level isn't dropping at all.
I-It's hard to call this place serene with that void there......

Anyway, for now, I need to secure food and shelter.
After that, the next thing to do is to level up. A lot.
There's also no harm in letting Alo and the others level up too.

But as for me, back when I defeated the Hero, I acquired this strange skill,〖Human Path〗.
It may be related to evolution since the Hero's maximum level greatly dropped when he lost this skill.
Then, that might mean that in the next evolution, there's a chance that I can make up for the downside of this Ouroboros body...... and maybe become a proper dragon.
There was a time when I had a demi-human subspecies evolution before.
That possibility might come back again.

...... That's so high, it's almost ridiculous.
Even after going through all that grinding I did on the Red Ants nest war under the Haranae desert, the battle with the Hero, saving the Lithuvar Tribe from the Abyss infestation, and that recent "Hungry Hunters" invasion, I'm still only 3/4 there.
It'll take even longer to reach max level from now on since the higher the level, the harder it takes to level up.
Most of my monster opponents were only rank C, which is only two ranks lower than me......
I didn't encounter that many rank B monsters.

Could it be that I've already become the strongest in this world?
I mean, looking back at the previous explanations of rank A monsters, if there were many of them roaming around everywhere, the world would be a wasteland by now.
Me aside, if some other Ouroboros picked a fight with another country, and if it chose to fight without holding back, that random country is toast.
Now that I've arrived at literally the edge of the world in just one flight, I'm starting to think this world isn't as big as I thought.

...... But, I still haven't received the〖Final Evolutionist〗title yet.
Don't tell me God's Voice wants me to destroy the world or something.

Parner nuzzles her cheek to Nightmare for comfort while glaring at me.

Partner, you…...even though you were annoyed by them not long ago, you would still cover for them……

I try to give Treant a nuzzle too, but he took a step back from me.

…...A-Anyway, back to the task at hand. We need to first find a monster and determine the level of dangers this place has to offer.
All the while keeping Alo and the little ones safe.

As I was looking around our surroundings, Partner snorted.
Then, she extended her head down and took a bite at a bunch of rainbow flowers near us.
Some bits of soil were in her mouth and she spat them out.

She tells me with a satisfied face.
Not fully believing in her words, I extend my head down and bite the flowers as well, only eating them from the stem up to avoid any soil from getting mixed in.
It was only one bite yet I was already showered with sweetness through my gums and tongue.
It tasted so good, I unknowingly dazed off for a minute there.

Then suddenly, Partner drops the flowers in her mouth and looks ahead.
She was looking into the distance with narrowed eyes.
Wondering what got her attention, I turn to look where she was staring at and see something running this way from the apple tree,

Its physical features look similar to that of a human.
A muscular, naked man is coming here with great speed.
And yet, strangely, I can’t seem to sense his presence at all.

I don’t know why he’s naked, or why he’s not scared even after seeing me, but once he got closer, I witnessed something horrifying.
The creature has no head. Instead, there’s a large humanoid face around the area of its chest and stomach.
I immediately determined that danger is imminent.
Then, the mysterious creature suddenly speeds up, approaching us with tremendous speed.
That change in speed tells me this isn’t just a mob monster we’re up against.

The face shows an esthetic dandy face.
And, the expression remains fixed and unchanged.
