Teacher Responsibilities

Arrive each day by 7:55am.

Fulfill daily duties and coverages.

Take attendance each period.

Play announcements each morning.

Attend all faculty, grade level, and department meetings.

Create and maintain a substitute binder with adequate lesson plans and emergency plans.

Maintain clear and consistent classroom procedures.

Maintain professional boundaries with students and use sound judgment.

Pick up students from the cafeteria at the conclusion of the lunch period.

Ensure students have appropriate passes or documentation when traveling throughout the building.

Ensure Schoology courses, pages, and gradebooks follow Deer Park standards.

Update and maintain accurate gradebooks every two weeks.

Read and respond to every communication in a timely manner.

Align your practices with Mr. Hughes's expectations.
