The first day of school is August 25!
Students will be dismissed at their lunch bell to the cafeteria
Teachers are responsible for walking students to and from lunch
Lunch 1: 6th grade students will report directly to 3rd period at 11:30am
Once students have arrived and settled, 6th grade teachers will begin walking students to the cafeteria at 11:35am
Lunch 2: Teachers will drop 7th grade students off and pick students up from the cafeteria
Lunch 3: 8th grade students will walk to the cafeteria independently
Teachers are expected to make sure students are seated at their assigned table before leaving
Teachers will enter the cafeteria through assigned doors
Door A: 10's, 20's, 30's, New Wing
Door B: 40's, 50's, Trailers
Door C: PE Classes
Door E: 60's, 70's, 80's
Students will sit at assigned tables according to their 3rd period or advisory class
Lunch will begin once all students have safely entered and are seated
Students will be called to purchase lunch by table
Students who need to use the bathroom will be given a lunch pass by a staff member on duty
Only 4 students will be permitted to leave the cafeteria at a time
Teachers will pick up students from the cafeteria and exit out of assigned door
Assistant Principals will dismiss students by class/teacher
Teachers will walk students back to class
Department Chairs will be stationed at major hallway intersections to monitor students
4 Restroom passes will be available every lunch period
Student will retrieve pass from staff member on lunch duty
Student will sign out on bathroom log
No lunch bunches will be held during the first quarter of the school year
During the 2nd-4th quarters, teachers may hold lunch bunches if they adhere to the following protocols:
Meet students in the cafeteria
Wait for all lunch bunch students to retrieve lunch
Walk students back to your classroom
Lunch bunch may not exceed seven students
Send an email to the main office with the names of students in your lunch bunch
Students must remain in your classroom for the duration of lunch
Students will be allowed to use both devices and cell phones during their lunch period
At the end of the lunch period, cell phones must be turned off and stored away
