Introduction
Lin's Tale is a 2-player cooperative side-scrolling action puzzle game.
Players take on the roles of twin siblings, Leon and Lily, working together to escape from a mansion. Along the way, they must solve puzzles that require teamwork and avoid various enemies that stand in their way.

What's My Part?
Contribution: Lead Programmer, Animation Design.
"Lin's Tale" is a game I co-developed with my classmates. Originally created as a project for our game design course, it was later showcased at an indie game exhibition.
I was responsible for programming and also took charge of the 2D character animation design.
Animation Design
The game's art design is inspired by shadow puppetry, with characters resembling traditional puppet figures.
When designing the movement animations, I aimed to highlight the "puppet-like" quality—making the characters perform unnatural, impossible motions that a real human couldn’t achieve. This approach was intended to enhance the game’s eerie and uncanny atmosphere.
Gameplay Design
"Lin's Tale" draws inspiration from 2D side-scrolling puzzle games like "Limbo", while adding a cooperative multiplayer element.
Players must work together in two different environments, each offering unique puzzles and challenges. They will need to support each other in solving these puzzles and evade various enemies, making collaboration the key to success.
Also, the male protagonist is named Leon as a joke by the other team members. Leon himself was unaware of this decision until the report submission.
