Second Stage

Eye Test

Art. 9 of the VZV needs change as it states: The eye test has to be done before application

First Aid Course

Doctors / Opticians will scan your QR-Code and are capable to fill in the information digitally.

First Aid course confirmation can be scanned via App

Third Stage

Theory Test – The first test of the license

The applicant scans a QR code in the beginning of the test, which immediately links the test to his/her account. After a successful attempt, the Lernfahrausweis (LFA) will immediately activate on the app / in the profile on the database

Fourth Stage

Driving School

As there is no mandatory amount of driving lessons, driving instructors may just scan the applicants QR-Code and register them for the practical test

Traffic instruction (VKU)

Traffic instructors receive a QR-Code for the number of applicants in the room which confirms course participation, thereby preventing fraud (fotograf of QR Code for confirmation) / potential to onboard onto App

Fifth Stage

Practical Driving Test

After a successful test, the examinor may again directly award the driving license by using the stakeholder part of the app to confirm successful completion

Sixth Stage

Drivers’ Education Course (WAB)

Art. 27d of the VZV needs change as it relates to a form that needs to be completed

Gravity of Change: Minor – the article later relates to electronic notification of administration anyway

As with the VKU, Applicants may scan a confirmation QR-Code at the end of the day to confirm their participation.

Seventh Stage

Issuing FAK – The Final License

The Application notifies the owner of the change to the definitive license after the three years of probation
