Thesis is designed to encourage students for conducting research in order to make them capable and compatible for the future. Students are required to conduct their research among various fields of mechanical engineering in two semesters. At the end of the first semester, they would present a midway presentation proposing the title and methodology. At the end of their research, students are required to submit a thesis report and present their work formally. Students are evaluated by examining their thesis report and oral presentation.
Course Outcomes (COs):
Define research issue by studying literature to set research objectives
Apply mechanical engineering knowledge to handle a real world problem
Investigate and analyze data to design mechanical system/component
Able to use modern engineering tools (software, equipment) for analyzing the system
Able to develop the ethical values to avoid plagiarism
Show the research objectives/mechanical engineering knowledge will serve the society
Present the final thesis report
