The Department of Education is committed to enhancing the implementation of the Strengthened Senior High School (SSHS) Program as part of its broader education reform under the MATATAG Agenda. The "Strengthen Senior High School Program" aims to improve the quality, relevance, and responsiveness of SSHS by aligning its curriculum with industry needs, higher education standards, and skills development. It seeks to ensure that every SHS graduate is equipped with foundational competencies, work readiness, and lifelong learning skills. This initiative reinforces DepEd’s goal of preparing Filipino learners for employment, entrepreneurship, middle-level skills development, or further education.
