𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲, 𝐌𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧 

𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

Guinobatan, Albay — In a proactive move to ensure uninterrupted delivery of quality education during class suspensions, the DepEd SDO Ligao City through the Curriculum Implementation Division and Learning Resource Management Section conducted the Division Inventory, Organization and Mapping of Teaching-Learning Resources cum Development of Contextualized Dynamic Learning Program (CDLP) Learning Activity Sheets for Home-based Learning During Suspension of Face-to-Face (F2F) Classes last January 30–31, 2026. The two-day activity was held at the Charisma Function Hall, Guinobatan, Albay.

The workshop gathered selected teacher-writers, learning resource evaluators, and education program supervisors from across the division. These participants were tasked with consolidating, reviewing, and mapping available teaching-learning resources, as well as developing contextualized Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) suited for home-based learning modalities.

The activity aimed to systematically organize existing print and digital instructional materials, identify resource gaps, and enhance the quality and relevance of learning activity sheets. Through collaborative sessions, participants aligned materials with curriculum standards while ensuring that content remains responsive to the local context and diverse needs of learners.

Working in teams, teacher-writers drafted and enhanced LAS, while learning resource evaluators ensured adherence to quality assurance standards. Education Program Supervisors provided technical guidance and oversight to guarantee that outputs meet both curricular and developmental benchmarks.

In her message, Schools Division Superintendent Nympha D. Guemo underscored the importance of preparedness and innovation in education delivery. “Education does not stop in times of uncertainty. Through our collective efforts in inventorying, organizing, and contextualizing our learning resources, we ensure that every learner continues to receive quality education—even beyond the four walls of the classroom. This initiative reflects our commitment to resilience, innovation, and inclusive learning for all,” SDS Guemo emphasized.She further highlighted the crucial role of teacher-writers and evaluators in maintaining high-quality instructional materials that are adaptable during emergencies and other situations requiring suspension of face-to-face classes.

The outputs from the two-day workshop will serve as standardized and quality-assured learning materials for schools throughout the division to be used during the suspension of face-to-face classes.

The activity concluded with a shared commitment among participants to continuously update, refine, and expand the division’s repository of teaching-learning resources—ensuring that learning remains accessible, relevant, and uninterrupted for all learners.

Batang, Ligao City — To further strengthen the quality and accessibility of learning resources in public schools, the DepEd SDO Ligao City, through the Learning Resource Management Section, successfully conducted the 1st Division Market Scoping and Finalization of Priority Lists of Supplemental Learning Resources for School Libraries on July 31, 2025, in Batang, Ligao City.

The activity served as a strategic platform for assessing available supplemental learning materials aligned with the Revised K to 12 curriculum and the evolving needs of learners. The market scoping enabled school leaders and learning resource managers to interact directly with publishers, explore innovative instructional materials, and finalize a list of priority resources for acquisition and use in school libraries.

Several publishing companies responded to the call and presented their latest materials, showcasing a wide range of educational books and references geared toward improving literacy, creativity, and 21st-century learning skills. Their participation significantly enriched the selection process and gave evaluators a better understanding of the variety and quality of resources available in the market.

Education Program Supervisors, Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs), Learning Resource Evaluators, and school library focal persons also took part in the activity, contributing their expertise in assessing and recommending appropriate materials for school-based use.

In her message, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Nympha D. Guemo highlighted the role of learning resources in elevating classroom instruction. The finalized list of priority learning resources will serve as a strategic guide for the Division in acquiring books and other instructional materials for school libraries, ensuring that every learner in Ligao City has access to high-quality supplemental resources that enrich classroom instruction and support holistic learning.
