This was a project of EDL 708 at the University of Kentucky in the Fall semester of 2020 (in the midst of a pandemic). All of the pages and content on this page were created and curated by students in the class. In this project, we explored deeply one area of deeper learning leadership and curated a getting start set of resources that teachers can use to gain a basic understanding of the key topics. Given that we are in a pandemic when this site was created, we wanted to focus on using Google Sites (a free and easy tool) to craft a better asynchronous professional development experience for teachers.
Welcome to our public PD page build for EDL 708 in the Fall semester of 2020. The students in this class (below) worked across the semester to compile this site to be used by teachers as an asynchronous learning tool specific to the challenges teacher are facing in the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020. Please navigate to the the menu and check out the resources available under each of the 4 topics we explored as a starting point for your own learning on these topics. If you have questions about the site or wish to add to it, please contact me.
