Coordinates are made up of two ordinates - an x-ordinate and a y-ordinate.
The x-ordinate gives the horizontal location.
The y-ordinate gives the vertical location.
These two ordinates go together to give a position in 2-dimensional space.
Here a bunch of examples of coordinates. Note when a coordinate is not in the top-right quadrant of the graph there is a negative in the coordinate.
Now it is your turn! Give the coordinates of each of these points.
Sometimes points are given in a table and they will need to be plotted onto a table.
