Before you create any graph make sure that you know what variable you want on the x-axis and y-axis. Using excel the x-axis variable has to be in the column on the left!! If it is not obvious, in the data, which is the dependent and independent variable it might be they could go either way.

Note: For this standard you have to draw a scatter graph without a trendline first and make analyse before drawing one with a trendline.
