1983

In it's second year of production, the Cutlass Ciera line gained sporty ES coupe and sedan offerings. New options included electro luminescent opera lamps and an electronic (digital) instrument cluster. The center console was slightly revised to include a coin tray, and rear styling was slightly modified.

The new ES was featured on the cover of Oldsmobile's 1983 full line brochure and included special wheel covers, blacked out trim, F41 sport suspension, black panted rear treatment, special black body moldings and bumper strips, a console with floor shifter, bucket seats, black wall tires, and full instrumentation, and sport steering wheel.
