Before you read, just know that my brother and I played through the entirety of the game. It's also important to note that we played through the entire game during the first summer of quarantine, which was two years ago in the summer of 2020, meaning that I don't remember every little detail. But the details I do remember I will include in the review. To start off, the story of the game is fascinating—the Jedi are gone and the main character of the game, Cal Kestis, has to find his way around the galaxy. The graphics of the game are also beautiful, they are high quality and colorful.
There are a total of 8 worlds that can be explored, then 5 that you can go back to. I won't go into detail; there should be some sort of surprise left behind so you can play the game later! Furthermore, there are characters you will meet along the way that will build the story and the world around you. And don't worry about needing to play through the game and then it not saving, there are checkpoints that you can save your game at.
The game never got boring; there was always another side quest to complete or more parts of the world to explore. I remember one vivid quest that unlocked a double-bladed lightsaber, and how excited I was after my brother had unlocked it. I had been trying for hours, but it only took him a couple of minutes. I also remember thoroughly enjoying the cut scenes; there was always a good story contained in these scenes that set up whatever main or side quest that we had to do.
I also remember my favorite characters being Merrin and Trilla; they were both strong and powerful and from two very different places.
