"Describe how you developed your idea for a collaborative task"
In developing my collaborative task, I focused on a health promotion project outlined in the NSW PDHPE Syllabus. Using Google Workspace, students will engage in collaborative research, content creation, and presentation. This approach utilises the real-time collaborative features of Google Docs and Slides, allowing students to work together seamlessly. The task is designed to enhance students' teamwork skills and understanding of health promotion, aligning with key readings on collaborative learning and digital technologies in education (Smith & MacGregor, 1992; Henderson et al., 2013). Integrating these technologies allows students to experience authentic, collaborative learning, moving beyond simple group work to engage in meaningful, interactive activities. References to the readings were integrated to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the collaborative process, emphasising the pedagogical benefits of using digital tools in modern education.
