- Several Mythic boss strategies have been updated and/or tweaked, based on available logs and videos.
- All Mythic strategies up to 7/8M should be accurate at this point. I'm sure there are small tweaks I'll still need to make, but the pages should give a fairly accurate representation of how to defeat the encounter.
9/21/2018
- Mythic Zek'voz
- Added in overlap timings with Surging Darkness & whatever else happens, as well as a kinda shitty near-overlap late in the fight.
9/16/2018
- Added in and clarified Cheese Strategies for several bosses.
- Now have Heroic cheese strats listed for MOTHER, Fetid Devourer, and Zul
- Added another alternative strategy for Vectis Heroic
- I recommend using the 3 group alternative strategy for raids struggling with the healing required on Heroic
- Fetid Devourer
- Added Mythic strat, including recommended raid composition
- Vectis
- Updated Mythic strat to include recommended raid composition
- Mythrax
- Fixed several errors I had overlooked. Sorry for taking so long on that =(
9/13/2018
- MOTHER
- Updated strat info and added tips regarding add management
- Noted the most common ways to wipe, and how to prevent
- Vectis
- Added in another phase 1 alternate strat, using 3 stack points for Omega vector groups. This makes life easier on healers, and should be used if your raid is struggling to handle the damage of Omega Vector
9/12/2018
- Vectis
- 4 Omega Vectors in mythic
- Added info on the Mythic strategy based on BDG and Method
- Will adjust if an easier strat presents itself as more guilds defeat the encounter
- Zek'Voz
- Added more detailed Mythic info, including strats to deal with the adds
- Vectis
- Added graphics showing positioning for Mythic p1 and p2
9/11/2018
- Taloc
- Added info on timings and strat to handle the mythic only mechanic
- Significantly more lazer beams in p2.
- Mother
- Added info on spawnings of the new Mythic-only adds, as well as the slight change for lazer beams
- Also posted the heroic (and normal) Cheese Strat
9/9/2018
- Zul
- Updated strat info for Zul. Recommend DPS go Single Target spec.
- Added in timings for Blood Hexers, as well as recommendation aim pushing boss into p2 before 2:52 mark
- Added info for p2 tank debuff. Recommend CD rotation when tank moves out to drop
- Zek'Voz
- Updated several things
- Recommend spreading during the 10s Eye Beam timer, as it's extremely difficult to react fast enough to not nuke the raid
- Surging Darkness cannot be cheesed
- Recommend focus targeting down Voidweaver adds
- G'Huun
- Added significant amount of information on Imperfect Physiology
- This debuff is confirmed to scale in Heroic. Base is 4 minutes 30 seconds in a 20 man raid
- Reduced by 30 seconds for every 2 players less than 20
- Increased by 30 seconds for every 2 players more than 20
9/6/2018
- G'Huun
- Updated info about Power Matrix debuff duration. This debuff seems to scale based on raid size.
- It looks like, based on logs, the Imperfect Physiology debuff duration is an active Work in Progress by Blizzard. Logs from the last 12 hours (based on 9/6 @ 10:30am EST) from NORMAL mode indicate the debuff now only lasting 2 minutes.
- Most recent HEROIC logs appear that the debuff is either 5 minutes with scaling for raid size, or 7 minutes flat. Cannot completely confirm, as there's only been 1 heroic kill so far.
- The only available logs at this point on H G'Huun long enough to check the 5 minute mark show players with the debuff longer than 5 minutes, but these groups are all 28-30 people. Unclear if extended due to scaling or simply just base longer duration.

Updating the guide live as the first few streamers make their way through normal Uldir.
- Mother
- Uldir Defensive Beam also functions earlier in the fight. Once the boss enters Chamber #2, a lazer wall periodically passes through Chamber #2 and chamber #3. Added this into the page for Mother.
- Once the boss enters chamber #3, there is an additional spawn point for the defensive lazers - the ceiling. Updated to reflect this.
- Vectis
- Updated recommendation to tank boss on whatever side of the room he reemerges from p2 to prevent downtime
- Updated how to deal with Gestate since the AoE damage is now very low
- Zul
- In p1, does not need a tank at all, so both tanks are available to pick up adds
- Changed page to reflect this
- Makes p1 less difficult, as double Blood Hexer becomes significantly less worrisome
- Mythrax
- Updated recommended positioning for p2, allowing much more free room
- G'Huun
- Updated information regarding Power Matrix ability, including timings, damage the overload does, and the effect with p3
9/3/2018
Mythrax
- Oblivion Spheres now do not despawn in any difficulty until the end of a phase 2.
- All Oblivion Spheres in the encounter area are despawned upon the ending of each p2, as Mythrax begins re-engaging
- Mythrax only enters phase 2 at 75% and 50%, he does not enter p2 at 25%
Taloc
- Volatile Droplets are indeed soakable by tanks. The logs and video I saw showing otherwise must have been bugged. Confirmed by watching 4 different videos of the most recent Taloc testing in early August. Updated the strat to reflect this properly again.

Various fights
- updated the names of several abilities, since Blizzard thought it’d be fun to rename abilities less than a week before the raid goes live (=
- Updated all numerical values in the guide based on most recent Dungeon Journal heroic values.
Taloc
- Cudgel of Gore now always targets the current tank, not a random player.
MOTHER
- Blizz removed the stacking debuff mechanic for when you pass through the barrier, instead opting to significantly increase the baseline damage of the ability
Fetid Devourer
- Blizz killed the potential cheese strat, thankfully. They implemented a change to the blob spawn points. If you are standing in a blob spawn point, and the Waste Disposal Unit activates to spawn a blob there, you get a stack of Malodorous Miasma.
- I included a potential way to still utilize the cheese strat, but it will be a significant gear check. I STRONGLY recommend not attempting the cheese strat until your raid has Mythic gear, because it’s essentially guaranteeing heavy raidwide ticking damage. Do not attempt the cheese strat week 1, do it the normal way.
Vectis
- Blizz completely reworked this fight in the most recent testing build. The tank debuff no longer causes the spawning of Omega Vector. Instead, Omega Vector just randomly afflicts 3 targets at the beginning of the fight, and you go from there.
- They also changed the stacking nature of the tank debuff. Instead of Evolving Affliction doubling in power for every stack, it now stacks in the traditional way. This significantly reduces the damage from this debuff at 3+ stacks
- These changes actually created an interesting potential cheese strat, which I’ve detailed. Please read through my note on the cheese strat before trying it.
- To help manage stacks, I had a custom Weakaura created to track everyone’s stacks of Lingering Corruption. It is untested right now. Once I test it this week, if it works, I’ll post a link to it in the write up for the boss.
- There is also a possibility that Blizz had another design change here. Initially on Beta testing, Gestate was a casted ability, giving the target player time to move out. Blizz may have changed this as well to an instant cast. If this is the case, I have detailed in the write up how to adjust the strategy.
Zek’Voz
- Updated some tuning numbers and information on a few abilities
