ARTIST STATEMENT
I am a Santa Monica-based designer and photographer. My colorful, graphic images highlight my travels throughout the American West. I find beauty in the humble and unexpected, from deserted motels to desolate landscapes spotted with signs of life. My artwork attempts to capture forgotten moments in time.
My work has been displayed in galleries and hotels in Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Portland, Seattle and Japan. These pieces have also been prominently featured on the Bravo Network's hit television shows "Flipping Out," "Interior Therapy with Jeff Lewis" and "Top Design."
What art classes did you take while at Crossroads? Photography, advanced photography, ceramics.
How did Crossroads help to shape or influence you as an artist? Crossroads taught me that there was no "wrong" way to look at anything from a creative standpoint. Through that lens is where exciting things happen, artistically.
