This is a socio-economic system desired by the capitalist class as a whole where the government exists exclusively to protect the interests of the capitalist class, because of a toxically erroneous belief that all that is good in society, including democracy, comes from a capitalist system that does not have any laws and regulations of any kind imposed on it by the government that can interfere with the ability of businesses to make as much profit as possible (regardless of any deeply harmful consequences for workers or society). Even laws that protect society from any harmful effects of business activities are undesirable. Therefore, under unbridled capitalism there would be no laws and regulations covering such matters as the minimum wage; child labor; environmental pollution; consumer protection; wildlife/nature preservation; workplace safety; length of the workday; food and drug safety; overtime pay; paid lunchbreaks; employee discrimination; labor unions; worker retirement; etc. At the same time, business taxes would be minimal or non-existent because there would be no need to fund social safety net programs (ranging from affordable universal health care to affordable universal college education; from unemployment insurance to retirement insurance; from affordable universal day care to food stamps; from disability insurance to free K-12 schooling; and so on). In other words, this is a system in which the working classes would be at the complete mercy of the capitalist class.
