Young magi that lust for power and have little patience for study are often attracted to the path of the Stormbringer. But the promise of power that Stormbringers accept comes too with a drawback of volatility. Channeling too much energy in too short a time gets many of these young magi killed.
Stormbringers harness lightning in an arcane fashion, far different from the ways of shamans that call on elemental spirits for their power. These magi are explosively powerful, and take command of the storms for their own benefits.
Summon destructive lightning and electrical energy to obliterate enemies.
Use gale winds to disable and control enemies.
Invoke the Titans to empower you and your allies.
Stormbringers are a damage-focused class that can offer some support to allies as well. There are many ways to build a Stormbringer, and a few unique class features you can explore such as summoning Lightning Orbs which zap nearby enemies, or building towards an Arm of Thorim build, where you are aiming to hit procs that will empower your Arm of Thorim spell for incredible damage and massive critical strikes.
Overall the Stormbringer is a simple-to-play magic using class that is great for beginners and veterans alike.
Static
Many Stormbringer spells generate Static, which decays naturally. If your Static reaches 70%, you gain a small bonus to your damage, and if it reaches 85%, you will gain an even larger bonus. However, if your Static reaches 100%, you will lose 90% of your current health and be stunned for 10 seconds. Balancing your Static is an important part of playing a Stormbringer, regardless of your build.
