Knights of Xoroth are dark experiments created by the most powerful of the dark Xorothian sorcerers. The most powerful warriors of Azeroth were possessed with Hellish, demonic Xorothian spirits, in order to create a legion of knights wreathed in hellfire to raze the mortal world and reduce it to ashes. Some Warlocks of Azeroth were able to take hold of the demonic spirits inside these Knights of Xoroth and return to them their free will, at which time these Knights of Xoroth were able to rejoin the Horde and the Alliance, and offer their new powers to the factions they once served. Now, new Knights of Xoroth are being trained by Azerothian Warlocks, in a similar but less complete process as what was done by the Xorothian sorcerers long ago. The new generation of Knights of Xoroth retain their freedom, and use it to wreak havoc on the enemies of their faction.

The Knight of Xoroth is a Horde only class until The Burning Crusade when Draenei will have access to it.
