"All will serve."
The Necromancer is a form of mage, specialising in the dark arts. Many Necromancers tend to have a less-than-good alignment, and most of them were in service of the Lich King before his fall. Now, as they rejoin the Horde and the Alliance, Necromancers offer their power in spreading terrible plagues upon their enemies, conjuring icy magic to impale them, and summoning legions of undead to overwhelm them.
Afflict your foes with terrible plagues and destroy them with shadow magics.
Most Death abilities do not consume Runic Power.
Conjure powerful frost magic to destroy your foes with instant and proc-based damage.
Powerful offensive Frost abilities consume Runic Power.
Summon horrible undead monstrosities to protect you and feast on your enemies.
Summoning undead often consumes Runic Power.
The Necromancer has a number of unique playstyles, all of which are damage focused, but the Necromancer is also capable of damage absorption through manipulation of their undead allies.
Death Necromancers are generally focused on building up damage-over-time diseases on their enemies, and either consuming them or interacting with them in some way to perform additional effects.
Frost Necromancers build up Runic Power in order to unleash devastating, instant damage Frost attacks with some area-of-effect. It is a very proc-based playstyle with a number of additional effects that can trigger of certain spells. Critical strike is also a heavy theme for this school.
Reanimation Necromancers build up Runic Power in order to summon hordes of minions. They can summon expendable skeleton warriors, life-stealing ghouls, frost-casting bone mages, extremely durable abominations, and more.
