Jobs to do - brainstorming
Tuesday, 13th of May 2026 @ Mangawhai.
How long have I been working on this project ?
"20240816 Hello ChatGPT I'd like to make some simple alterations and additions to a couple of the basic templates that we created in previous sessions to present vocabulary for learners of foreign languages. "
( so at least a couple of months before then ) .
I started using to Claude Sonnet 4 A.I. on Monday 23 June 2025 —11 months ago13 May 2026).
I started designing these templates while living in Yokkaichi, Japan back in 1992 and continued working on these ideas while living and teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language in Queenstown in New Zealand from 1996-2002.
What have I achieved so far ?
Using Claude Sonnet 4, I have created working models ( click on the links ) of all of the Interactive Vocabulary Presentation templates that I set out to create for both phonographic ( romanized ) and logographic ( non-romanized ) languages.
I have also created this Conceptionary web-site as a repository for everything I've been doing.
Also : Indo Lingo Bahasa Indonesia for speakers of English.
Conceptionary - Te Reo Maori for speakers of English.
Conceptionary-en4de - English for speakers of German.

============================================================
What am I wanting to do right now?
Brainstorm ( or use A.I. ) to identify which concepts need which template.
Create a directory of concepts
Continue creating and perfecting templates :
Rice-planting cycle - Bahasa Indonesia. Kumara-planting cycle - Te Reo Maori. Wheat growing cycle-German.
Create a spreadsheet
to record progress so I can see what I need to do.
I need to get some user feedback from my german-speaking friends and although I have already created all the basic templates I am not satisfied that they are easy enough to understand and use.
Change the text size to what I'm using here. It's so much easier to read this larger format.
Create a video animation of the templates being used.
Where do I want to go from here ?
Teach the A.I. how to respond to user requests. Which template to use.
Create model lesson plans with interactive components.
Design with Search Engine Optimization in mind but generic templates can keep their acronyms ( IT5L etc )
Ensure that all templates can be viewed on mobile and touch screen devices.
Create a colour scheme and style protocol.
Create generic versions of each of the templates.
Connect to an API to get audio text to voice.
Use A.I. to learn about this stuff. Chat GPT voice is good enough.
Explore Replit etc. Ask Dennis and Vanya for advice.
Create a dummy site.
Where do I want to go with this ?
