The Writing Race

First of all, go down around the winding road and into the tunnel.

Go through the tunnel and when you come out at the other end, you'll come to a set of traffic lights at the controlled intersection of two major roads.

You'll probably have to stop to wait for the lights to change from red to green .

When the lights change, drive straight ahead through the intersection down towards the bridge.

Go across the bridge which crosses over the river and keep on driving up the other side, through the trees, past a house, over a railway tunnel and past an advertising billboard.

The billboard is just before a small village which is on the main road. If you go through the village , you might get stuck at the lights , so it's usually quicker if you turn off just after the sign, to by-pass it. Veer off to the right where the road forks into two and go down along between the rice terraces and the railway line.

You'll come back up onto the main road where you have to turn right under the over head rail bridge. Continue going down along the road, over some small hills

past the pine trees, towards the river. Go down alongside the river on the embankment and when you come to the river mouth, you'll be able to see a sign which says 'GAS' on the traffic island at the turnoff - just opposite the beach, just past the pedestrian crossing.

Just past the gas station there is a road which turns off to the left.

That is the road which leads to my house.

- Oops ! Sorry ! ( I forgot ) The bridge is 'out'. The road is temporarily closed.

A new bridge is being built. It's under construction now.

You'll have to turn around and go back and take a detour around the back of the small industrial area. Take the road which turns off just before the gas station.

Turn left at the childrens' playground and follow the road around the back until you come out on the other side of the construction site where you'll be able to see some guard rails.

Go across the road bridge and take the right fork which follows the pond around to your right .

Keep going along that road and you'll be able to see my house .

It's the first on the left just after the road curves around to the left.
