I chose a one-pager as my first artifact because it promotes higher-order thinking and communication. Creating a one-pager helps with visual representation for students of all grade levels. It allows students to communicate their ideas effectively in written or picture form.
My second artifact was a three-minute pause activity. It allows students time for critical thinking and provides a guideline for effectively communicating their thoughts. This activity also promotes high-order thinking and allows for probing questions.
