The artifacts I chose for Competency 004 are a brainstorming diagram and a water cycle video. I chose brainstorming as my artifact because it improves critical thinking. It engages students to talk, support, and defend their thinking. It helps support the learning process in multiple ways. I also included the water cycle video because it helps students make connections with visual learners. As a teacher, you must know the different types of learners that make up your class and provide a meaningful curriculum for everyone.
