"Jessica Fuller, Building Community and Student Voice in the Classroom"

In this episode, you will hear from our very own CNUSD teacher, Jessica Fuller. Jessie Fuller is an extraordinary educator that believes in the power of community. Listen in as she describes how she creates shared experiences within the classroom and inspires her students to believe in the power of their own stories. Jessica Fuller teaches grades 9-12 Language Arts at Orange Grove High School. Jessica has taught for twelve years, all of which have been in the Corona-Norco Unified School District. Jessica strives to embody and model the traits and attributes that she extols in her students. She encourages her students to persist to reach their goals and emphasizes that most things worth having are hard to achieve. She believes that she can be the most expert, educated curriculum designer and the most riveting presenter, but is she does not know her kids and take an active, sincere interest in their world, she has missed what it means to be a teacher. Jessica earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Michigan University and her Master of Education Degree from Chapman University.
