This year at Cloverleaf I built the Eiffel Tower with some friends using the EDP (Engineering Design Process). I started with research and asking questions on how the tower was built and how it looked. Then, I imagened what it would look like and got a picture for it in my mind. After that, I planned it by drawing it, and then I created it. Last, I tested it by putting weight on it and then improved it.

Add student-written description of how they use CER for investigative research. (Ceci/gifted)
In Mrs. Ceci's class I used CER to desribe how mountains are formed by constructed and destructive forces. The land pushes up and creates a mountain. Mountain ranges can also be formed by constructive and destructive forces. CER helps us make scientific arguments.
