BIODIVERSITY IN ESER PRIMARY SCHOOL,TURKEY

PLANTING PAPER SEEDS

We prepared paper seeds from recycling paper and put seeds in it. Then we prepared recycled containers and planted seeds with our project partners and planted the seeds in our school to become flowers and also a memory for our Erasmus Project.

We organise natural trips and students explore nature and collect plants and flowers to make bracelets, pictures or patterns. In this activity we aim to raise environmental awareness in our students.

OUR GREEN HOMELAND

As a result of severe forest fires in Türkiye, Turkish Ministry of Education has launched yearly plans for environmental education. The first theme is Our Green Homeland. In this theme all schools around Türkiye planned classroom activities. In our school, we prepared Art work with students and watched educational videos how to protect our Ecosystem.

FROM SEEDS TO PLANTS

In our school we teach students how seeds become plants and they prepared their own bean seeds. We aim our students learn growing plants and contribute to the ecosystem.

ENVIRONMENT DAY IN ESER PRIMARY SCHOOL

We celebrate Environment Day in our school with parents, neighboring school teachers. There are exhibitions of recycled materials, fashion shows with recycled clothes and students also prepare slogans for our Environment.
