The CKSCP Story

INCREASING GREATER CINCINNATIANS’ PARTICIPATION
IN WORLD AFFAIRS
AND THE
GROWTH OF DEMOCRACY

For the past 31 years, the people of Cincinnati have had the opportunity to help the people of Kharkiv discover the benefits and responsibilities of a free society, through cooperative projects in over 70 areas of mutual interest in the fields of business, culture, medicine, education, social issues, religious freedoms, and human rights.

You can see CKSCP’s heritage and culture in our video

You Can Play a Part in the Cincinnati-Kharkiv Sister City Partnership:

Our exchange programs bring groups from Ukraine to Cincinnati to work with Americans in business, government, education, culture, and medicine. We travel to Ukraine to share knowledge, make business and professional contacts, and expand understanding of the world community.  CKSCP exchanges allows both Kharkiv and Cincinnati members to pursue their own professional interests or projects by finding colleagues from both cities to interact and visit with.

Members could also have the chance to visit Ukraine as a part of Cincinnati delegations to explore the political climates of Kharkiv. Exchange program groups can explore the country and cultures with friends they have made in the city of Kharkiv. CKSCP is part of a “peoples’ diplomacy” which allows us to participate in bettering this world and expanding cultural knowledge. Exchange groups are able to enrich themselves with the culture of Ukraine, one of the oldest and largest countries in Europe that is still “unspoiled” by the tourist onslaught.
