Kharkiv is still holding. Downtown is badly damaged. Not one single intact neighborhood. We hear cannonade, artillery shelling and planes all the time. One village near our dacha is razed to the ground. But in spirit the Ukrainian people are undefeated.

From GM.

The director of Annex gallery in OTR is planning a so-called pop-up exhibit of works related to Ukraine.

As details are finalized, we will share them with you.

Baseball in Cincinnati and Kharkiv

In 2018 there was a group of guys in Kharkiv interested in organizing baseball teams in Kharkiv.  CKSCP worked with the Cincinnati Reds to ship baseball equipment to them to assist with the start up.

Our dream was to establish the Sister Cities Summer Classic where baseball teams would come to Cincinnati in year 1 for a series of games with local teams.  Year 2 the Cincinnati teams would travel to Kharkiv to play baseball there.  It's still a dream!

I moved to Kryvyi Rig with my mom. My father stayed back in Kharkiv with the dog.

The University and the tennis courts were damaged recently.

The morale of the Ukrainian troops is very high but the resources are not equal.

No doubt the Boys of Summer have laid down their gloves to defend Kharkiv.
