Open World Delegation looks at Media Coverage of Elections

CKSCP was selected to host the following Open World program: Media Coverage of Political Leaders and Elections, November 2-10, 2018. The timing could not have been better!

The Open World description of this program said the following:

Election press coverage in Ukraine has always been complicated by such issues as non-transparent state bodies/administrative resources, corrupt individuals, the widespread use of ‘fake news’, and journalists being threatened by candidates and their influential supporters. Ukrainian reporters have been aiming to reach new standards of investigative and ethical journalism/reporting.

We were delighted to have been offered this opportunity to plan full, five days of presentations about this topic.
