The world of marathoners overlapped with the Sister Cities when a delegation from Kharkiv participated in the 2017 Flying Pig in Cincinnati.

Sergiy and Olga Fedchenko, Vadym and Julia Kovalenko, and Serhii and Olena Artemenko arrived on May 2 to represent Kharkiv in Cincinnati’s Flying Pig Marathon. In addition to competing in the Pig they toured the Cincinnati Zoo, visited Cincinnati Fitness Boxing, explored OTR and met with the CKSCP Board.
