There is no doubt that there are a lot of people looking for puppies these days. We have received an unusually large number of inquiries this year that we attribute to the Covid shutdowns. With so many people looking for puppies, we wanted to give prospective puppy families an idea of what we will be looking for in prospective homes. Here are a few of the things that we are looking for in future puppy families. All of these things are important to us at Cindel PWDs:
*Homes that have experience with dogs and especially PWDs.
*Homes that are active and want to include their future puppy/dog in most or all of their activities.
*Homes that are interested in dog sports: agility, obedience, rally, scent work, water trials, barn hunt, Fast CAT, or others.
*Homes that are interested in conformation showing.
*Homes that will continue to attend training classes throughout the life of their dog.
*Homes that have a fenced yard or opportunities for the puppy/dog to run and play off leash.
*Homes that are willing to research PWDs and are willing to do additional research about training and other dog related issues.
*Homes that are willing to become members of the PWDCA and/or local kennel clubs.
*Homes that will provide a loving home for their dog.
*Homes that are willing to keep in touch with us in the future.
