About Us

Our Family

We are originally from the Pacific Northwest, but settled in SE Wisconsin when my husband left the military. We have two grown children who live in the area, and four Portuguese Water Dogs who live with us and four others that we co-own. We live in a cozy country home about 7 miles NE of West Bend, WI.

All of my free time is spent doing things with my dogs. I am always trying to learn something new and my dogs are always eager to be a part of whatever new activity I find! We love to participate and compete in several AKC dog events: conformation, agility, barn hunt, trick competitions, and we hope to add water trials and obedience to our list sometime soon. As a lifelong distance runner, I am thrilled to finally have a dog who loves to run with me (Miss Maya). We also love to walk and hike, and in winter we enjoy playing in the snow.

When I am working, I am a kindergarten teacher for a local public school, and my husband is a quality manager for a company in Wisconsin.
