Blessing of the Animals

Please join us on Sunday, October 4, at 10 a.m., when we will celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi with a Blessing of the Animals. Francis, the founder of the Franciscan Order and the patron saint of animals and the environment, believed that all creatures are loved by God. Bring your (well-behaved and appropriately restrained!) animal — dog, cat, bird, turtle, guinea pig, what have you — so they can receive a special benediction.
