Mission Statement

Christ Church is a Christian faith community that welcomes all, worships together, transforms lives, an engages in God's work in greater Montpelier and beyond.

Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your journey, you are welcome here!

Halloween at Christ Church! - Once again this year, Christ Church will be joining the Halloween activities in downtown Montpelier on Thursday, October 31st! There will be candy and games and spooky music and costumes. In past years, hundreds of families have taken advantage of this safe option for a Halloween celebration. Contact Denise if you'd like to volunteer to set up or clean up or help out in some other way (or you just like dressing up!).

Concerts at Christ Church - Christ Church is very proud to announce two upcoming concerts. On Sunday, October 20th, at 4 pm, Claire Black will be presenting a piano recital entitled Forests & Fairy Tales. On Sunday, October 27th, at 3:30 pm, Counterpoint will be presenting a programme entitled The Sceptered Isle. For more information on these two musical opportunities, please visit our Music page or contact our Music Director, Lynnette!

Hispanic American History Month - Our Church School will be celebrating the lives and contributions of notable Hispanic Americans and the many positive contributions the Hispanic community have made to the life of this country. See the Youth and Family Ministries bulletin board in the Parish Hall for details!

Halloween - Christ Church has sponsored an event for the last couple of years in the church building on Halloween. All kinds of activities related to Halloween will be offered, and lots and lots of candy! In the past, we've had several hundred people come to view the decorated sanctuary and to have some fun in a safe environment!

This event benefits the entire parish and we need the entire parish to make it a success again this year. Sign up outside the church office to set up or clean up or donate candy or help run the event on the day. You can also contact Denise or any of the Youth and Family Ministry team. Give the office a call!
