I'm a husband, father, U.S. Army veteran living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I enjoy spending time with my loving wife and infinitely curious son, gardening, and honing my communication craft.
I first fell in love with technical communication during my time as a soldier where I used manuals for everything. It was only after leaving the military that I realized how much technical communication, and communication in general, really mattered.
Since then I've developed different forms of communication for a number of clients. I've collaborated with school staff on policy handbooks, drafted business documents for a local builder, and designed a menu with a new restaurateur.
My aim is to build a connection with my audience that meets them where they're at and on their terms. Understanding their wants, needs, and attitudes for communication is at the heart of my work.
And for what it's worth, I love what I do.
