This artifact shows a quiz that was given to assess the students' knowledge on rounding. The Common Core State Standard is on the top of the quiz to show the significance of why the students were being quizzed on this information, which is paired along with the directions of the quiz. This quiz follows the standard because it assesses the ones, tens, and hundreds place values.
Copy of Lines Etc. Box It!This artifact shows a "Box it!" which is a method of the students working with their peers and showing that they know the information. A "Box it!" is when the students walk around the room, finding a different partner to work with for each box, then each partner takes turns explaining how to solve the box and then solves it. This works with social and emotional standards as well as the math standard the lesson was taught towards.
