“We are writers my love. We do not cry. We bleed on paper” ~Unknown. Writing has always been a passion of mine but I knew it would not pay as well as I wanted it to. That is why I liked the idea of going into publishing books because then I could edit books that need help. When I write I stick to love stories or something about fantasy. I needed a chance to explore different genres of writing to expand upon my writing skills. Through my creative writing classes I learned new styles like poetry, screenwriting, and many more. Through learning these styles I have grown to appreciate other writers that do some of these styles because they are hard to write. Even though I still love to write romance and fantasy I now know that I can expand my horizons and use these skills in romance or fantasy novels. I am grateful for everything I have learned because it has made me a better writer and has encouraged me to get out of my bubble of writing what I am comfortable with. I am also thankful for my experiences in the world because I can use those emotions I felt and make them come alive within certain characters. I have grown so much and I can not wait to continue on learning.
