March 8th, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappered from radar. 239 people went missing, a global investigation into this greatest mystery. Despite reports, countless theories, and searches for evidence, nothing. What are we missing?

The way this mini-series was broadcasted seemed like it was going to reveal new information about what really happened to this flight. That is not the case. It is basically 3 episodes each spanning over an hour. They start by just describing what happened and how the world reacted. Then they got into 3 popular theories about what could have happened and how they came up with those theories. 

The first theory was that the pilot wanted to commit suicide. This theory was extremely popular because it was easy to blame the pilot for what happened. He was flying the plane so why couldn't he be to blame? In my opinion, there was not enough evidence to support this theory. The pilot was one of the best. Also, he wrote no suicide note as well he had a loving and caring family. He had no reason to kill himself or the other passengers on board. Even though he did follow the flight path MH370 took on his at-home flight stimulation machine, that does not mean he was going to do that to the actual plane. 

Theory two is so bizarre that there is no way it could be true. Theory two basically says that Russia took Crimea just a couple of months before the flight. There were also 3 Russians on the plane at the same time. Two of them would cause a disturbance well the third that sat in first class would sneak away to the hardware of the plane. Override the captains fly the plane back to Malaysia then take it up to Crimea to distract the world from what Russia was doing. As well as distract the government by faking the flight path the plane used. This theory is not out of the realm of possibility but they could not connect the three Russians together in any way shape or form. Also, you can't fly a plane from its hardware. It has to be done on the pilot's end. As Americans, we tend to believe everything is Russia's fault because of communism and the dictator Putin. This theory was disproven by pieces of the plane washing onto beaches for people to find. Jeff Wise and Blaine Gibson are both free-lance self-made aviation investigators. The pair goes back and forth arguing that the other is wrong. Jeff then blames Blaie for being a Russian Spy. Blaine comes back and says he has been blamed for everything under the sun but he just wants to know the truth. 

Theory three is one that I believe to have the most evidence. This theory came from Florence De Changy a journalist from Paris. Florence and Cyndi Hendry were able to find white pieces in photos from the Malysian sea. They believed it was MH370 but government officials denied this because they never found anything. During the time MH370 was flying back over Malaysia there was government training going on and there was no way it could have just bypassed the government base without having a signal. Florence believed that two E-3 planes flew over top and bottom of MH370 and jammed the signal of the plane. Then forced the plane to land so that they could take technology that the plane was carrying. This is believable because there was a tech package in the plane that was not x-rayed before flight. Many do not like this theory because there was records of MH370 flying toward the south of Australia. But it is possible to change those records like theory two stated. Blaine Gibson comes in again saying that this is the worst theory because they had found plane parts not even near Malaysia. The plane part that were found could never be tracked back to MH370 because the serial numbers were scrapped away. The plane parts could belong to any plane crash over the years not just MH370. 

At the end of the documentry they never come to a conclusion about what really happened to the plane. It was all of the families want closure for the people they lost as well as having hope that one day we would find out what really happened to MH370. Overall this could have been put into a youtube video. It was nice to try and come up with your own theory but there is still too many unknowns because of the corrupt government in Malaysia.
