Use of the boat must be agreed upon with Omega 365.
A qualified boat operator must always be present, and everyone on board must wear life jackets.
The recommendations and regulations of the Norwegian Maritime Authority must be followed
Check the mooring before you untie the boat, so you can secure it the same way when you return. Remember to place the mooring line over the boat to keep it clean and tidy.
Always remember to bring the oars!
The boat has a self-draining deck, but with the weight of an adult, water can flow in. It's a good idea to insert the plugs (located under the aft bench) into the drainage holes as soon as you board. While underway, the plugs can be removed to allow water to drain out.
The engine must be lowered before it can be started. Press the release button (a bit hard to see), pull the engine toward you, and gently lower it down. It can be helpful to sit on the rear bench facing the engine.
Remember to pump fuel to the engine.
The choke is automatic, so simply pull the starter cord gently—with the gear in neutral and the throttle set to "Start."
If the tide is very low, keep the engine raised so that the propeller is just below the surface until you’re outside the breakwater.
There is an anchor in the boat and an extra-long mooring rope under the bench if you want to go ashore. There are mooring bolts on Færøyna, but also many other nice places to stop.
ENJOY YOUR TRIP!
Before departure, the fuel tank must be refilled to the level it was at when you arrived (use 98 octane).
If the boat has been used for fishing, it must be rinsed clean.
