My knowledge and comprehension of the bridge inspection procedure and related health and safety issues are demonstrated by the practical task that I was given for the assignment. In London, I located two bridges: one is a self-anchored suspension bridge for car and pedestrian traffic that runs north-south across the River Thames, and the other is a one-deck arch bridge with railings, a railroad bridge, a reinforced concrete bridge, and a masonry pier on a multi-track railway bridge that crosses the River Thames. I gave both bridges a general inspection. I completed the risk assessment form and was given permission to go on the site visit. I made an album where I can upload pictures of any bridges I go to and try to gather some basic information about them.
