Grosvenor Bridge is located near Chelsea Bridge.
It is a multi-track railway bridge that spans the River Thames between Abbot's Manor and Battersea Park.
The "Victoria Railway Bridge," as it was originally known, was designed by engineer John Fowler and opened in 1860 for the London Brighton and South Coast Railway.
The Grosvenor Bridge spans the Thames and is one of the busiest rail bridges in London, linking Victoria Station to the rest of the country.
The bridge maintained its four-arch design for aesthetics and functionality and stayed true to history by being designed as ten distinct bridges capable of carrying ten tracks.
Because it was important to keep 8 tracks open for use along this high-volume bridge during restoration, each bridge and track were replaced one at a time and added to the growing new Grosvenor Bridge, which is why the tracks and arches were kept separate.
