The capping beam has minor surface rusting as seen from distance. It may be because of the humidity and moisture deposition on the surface.

The layer of application of Electroplating and Galvanising or Oil-based paints on the surface can give a uniform finish and it also bonds tightly to metal and are less likely to fade and rust.
