A Brazilian song by Daniela Mercury. This song, about African beauty and heritage in Brazil, is sung in Portuguese and the Yoruba African language. International gestures allow us to translate meaning from one language to another.
The song was presented by students to its own author, Daniela Mercury, who showed great interest in the possibilities offered by international gestures for stages around the world.
A text in Portuguese is proposed for a song that introduces multi-ethnic Brazil to the world.
The text implies the following ideas:
-Multi-ethnic composition of Brazil, "daughter of the whole world"
-The presence of women in social and political action in Brazil and the world.
-Continental and natural dimension of the country, reflected in the National Anthem itself
-Claim for a greater international presence for Brazil (permanent post on the UN Security Council, etc).
-Messages of peace and the fight against hunger, valid both in Brazil and worldwide.
