Background

The present proposal is based on the use of international signs as a parallel communication tool among people from different countries and speaking different languages.

Plains Indian Signs have been used successfully in the past for similar purposes, and the World Deaf Federation has developed the concept of international gestures. The YoGoTe written signs allow speaking persons worldwide to use these gestures as an additional international communication tool.
