The following segments were identified:
Providers: 1) Progressive Practitioners; 2) Passionate Balancers; 3) Restricted Reputationalist; and 4) Unengaged Providers
Clients [nulliparous young women (15-24): 1) Open Strugglers; 2) Advantaged Adopters; 3) Restricted Traditionalists; and 4) Skeptical Adventurers
The Client Expectation Scenarios allows clients to better understand and empathize with providers, while the Counseling Cards can be used by the provider to quickly segment her/his client and adapt the counseling messages to resonate with that segment’s needs, attitudes, and beliefs, including gender-based violence specific counseling messages.
