The SoundCat software jammer generates up to 10 dB RF interference using normal sound. The principle of operation of the SoundCat audio jammer is as follows. Sound vibrates charged ions in the substance around itself, which converts sound vibrations into electromagnetic, sound frequencies. Further, electromagnetic oscillations create their own harmonics of higher frequencies: discharges at frequencies f2 = f * n, where f2 is the discharge frequency, f is the sound frequency, n is any integer. That is, to create interference at a frequency of f2 in hertz, you need to create sound at a frequency of f = f2 / n, choosing an integer n to fall into the audio range.

Example. To interfere with a bug with an operating frequency of 48 megahertz, the frequency of 16 kilohertz is set in the SoundCat program: 16 * 3 * 1000 = 16 * 3000 = 48 MHz. Namely, the program sets the frequency band 15500 KHz - 16500 KHz, with a margin.

Also, in this program you can set the number of parallel-sounding channels in the frequency band, by default - 5 channels, and the step over the frequency range, by default - 100 hertz. That's it, press Stop - the jammer turns off, press Continue - the jammer turns on. It is recommended to start the sound on an antenna or battery, and listen to it only at the stage of tuning the program to the frequency!

The CYBERSCAN-2 program is intended both for detecting places with bugs (radio embedded devices), and for determining their operating frequencies for suppression with a jammer (radio signal suppressors) or - introducing significant interference into the radio protocol by other methods. Detection of bugs. To locate the location of the bug, the submission and removal of the antenna of the RTL-SDR device with continuous pronunciation of the signal level by the CYBERSCAN-2 program is used. If, when the antenna is brought up to the object, the signal level increases, then there is a bug in the object that uses transmission in this frequency band. This is how the electromagnetic field decreases with distance from the source and grows near the source, like a hyperbola.

Detection of the operating frequency of the jamming bug. If a bug cannot be removed, for example, an implant in the body, in a place difficult for surgery, then it must be suppressed by a jammer of a radio signal - a jammer. To do this, you need to know the operating frequency of the bug. To determine the operating frequency of the bug with the CYBERSCAN-2 program, the band division method is used. The frequency range from 3 MHz to 1 GHz is first divided into parts of 100 megahertz and the antenna is brought to the place with the bug. Measurements are made in each frequency interval and the interval with the maximum signal is selected. Further, this interval is divided into n parts and measurements are made in narrower ranges. Since the length of the current interval is rapidly decreasing, the manual process quickly converges to the operating frequency of the bug with an accuracy of 1-2 MHz. Program installation. First, download the CYBERSCAN-2 installer archive from the folder below and unzip the free 7zip archiver with the cyborg password.
