Discord Radio Player is a simple Windows program that allows you to create your own discord radio station with content and ads. The idea is that discord channel rights are configured for listeners without the right to speak on the channel, only to listen. And the rights of the channel administrator allow you to speak - to broadcast with discord the system sound of a computer or Dedicated Server (VDS). It is this system sound that is created by the discord radio program: it in a loop reads MP3 files from the Music folder and its subfolders, and when a specified time in minutes has elapsed, it automatically interrupts broadcasting for advertising, playing an MP3 file from the Adver folder. The content folder of the radio station can contain not only music, but also podcasts, audio books, dubbed articles, interviews or any other interesting mp3 files of entertainment or analytical material.
At the same time, with small content files, the program waits for the file to finish playing, and inserts an advertisement between the files, and when playing large files, such as audio books, Discord Radio pauses once every n minutes to play the advertisement mp3 file. Both content files and advertising files for playing are randomly and evenly selected, the work of the station is fully automated - you just need to listen to your station for control, for example, on a smartphone, using a standard discord client!
The work of the program. Set the folders for music and advertisements and click Play - that's it, the station is running. Launch the Discord client, go to the channel of the radio station and turn on the broadcast of the system sound - the station is broadcasting!
Testing the program. Set a folder with audio books or podcasts in mp3 format in the music folder, and a folder with music in mp3 format in the advertisement folder. And press Play: you will have analytical reports with breaks to music.
Installing the Discord Radio software. First, install the .NET Framework from the Install First folder - it's in the form of a WIndows update. Then run the setup of the Discord Radio program. That's it, click run on the Windows warning and the program is installed.
